All content uploaded to viralmemes.in is done so with explicit written permission from the original content creator or copyright holder. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been made available on our platform without your authorization, please follow the takedown process described below.

2. Content Removal Request (DMCA Takedown)

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe content on viralmemes.in infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to:

Your takedown notice must include all of the following:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work: A clear description or link to the original copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
2. Identification of the infringing material: The exact URL(s) on viralmemes.in where the allegedly infringing content appears.
3. Your contact information: Name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

Incomplete notices may not be processed. We will respond to valid notices within 3–7 business days and remove the identified content if the claim is valid.

4. What Happens After We Receive a Notice

• We will review the notice to confirm it meets the requirements above.
• If valid, the content will be removed promptly (within 3–7 business days).
• The user who submitted the content (admin) will be notified of the removal.
• You will receive a confirmation email once the content is removed.

5. Counter-Notice Process

If content was removed in response to a copyright notice and you believe it was removed in error (e.g., the content is licensed, in the public domain, or protected by fair use), you may submit a counter-notice to nextgen.viralmemes.in@gmail.com.

A valid counter-notice must include:

1. Identification of the material removed and its previous location on the site.
2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed in error.
3. Your name, address, phone number, and email.
4. Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If they do not initiate legal action within 10 business days, we may restore the removed content at our discretion.

6. Repeat Infringers

viralmemes.in will terminate the accounts of repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances. We take copyright seriously and maintain a zero-tolerance policy for willful infringement.

7. Misuse of the DMCA Process

Filing a false or misleading DMCA notice is a serious legal matter. Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including attorney's fees. Please use this process in good faith only.
